Empedans ve Direnç Arasındaki Farklar Nelerdir?

What are the Differences Between Impedance and Resistance?

Impedance is the equivalent resistance of each component or electrical circuit to current. Resistance, on the other hand, is the force that prevents or delays the passage of electrons in the path that voltage and current reach from one end to the other.

What is Impedance and Resistance?

Resistance is the force that prevents or delays the passage of electrons in the path that voltage and current reach from one end to the other. Impedance is the equivalent resistance of each component or electrical circuit to current. Components are divided into active and passive. Active components are variable resistors. They change their resistance according to the current or input voltage of the circuit they are connected to. Examples of active components are capacitor and inductor. The resistance values of the passive components do not change.

What are the Impedance and Resistance Differences?

Coming to the differences between resistance and impedance, resistance occurs in AC and DC circuits. Impedance can only occur in AC circuits. Resistance is fixed and does not change. Impedance can vary depending on the frequency of the current in AC circuits. As a circuit element, the resistor has no phase angle. Impedance has magnitude and phase angle. It represents the power dissipation (consumption) and stored energy when the resistor is held in an electromagnetic field. When impedance is exposed to a magnetic field, it represents both power dissipation (consumption) and stored energy.

Technical Differences Between Impedance and Resistance

Technically speaking, Resistance is denoted by R and Impedance by Z. Resistor represents a simple value consisting of real numbers. Besides, impedance is a complex value consisting of real and imaginary values (Z= R + iX). Therefore, complex algebra is used to solve for impedance. Resistance refers to the contribution of one of the circuit elements to the circuit. The contribution of the impedance, on the other hand, is the resistance and reactance (inertia shown against electron movement) together.
